Mark Cockrell has been the Technology Coordinator for the Honey Grove I.S.D. since 1997 where he's become known for his creativity, vision, innovation and ability to do more with less.  Not only a technician, Mark is a teacher who's presented workshops throughout the state of Texas to teachers and technicians alike.

Mark is an active proponent of the strategic and effective use of Open Source technologies in educational environments and is a founding member and former officer of the Strategic Open Source Special Interest Group of the Texas Computer Education Association.
